I Feel Orange Today part III

I've started this project in May 2012.

I enjoy movies- comedies, musicals, based on true story...

Comedies
Because I love a good laugh. I grew up in Europe so "my" humor is not always the same with US humor. I've learned to taste American humor, and still some jokes pass right over me...

Musicals
I enjoy the choreography. The grandiose sets, costumes, the songs that make sense, fit well into the story.

True Stories
Even though some are "Hollywooded" - in the sense of twisting some of the reality, to hype up the action, to not lose the audience. But still keeps the true seed of the story.

but here is what I'm actually working on :)

Now, this is a Documentary. I've been told to watch 100 docs before I start on my own one... That is OUTRAGEOUS, but doable.  Or, take a Doc class.  Well, more of "me" later, here is more about the project. :P

Princess Diana Story

I've been asked why! Why I chose to create this.

Mayo Clinic in AZ explains what MS is

Because

Because it can take even 10 years to diagnose it

Because I Love Orange    and     I wear it proudly

I've met some awesome people and heard even more life stories. I can't wait to share them with the world. I initially had a "due date" but that has been pushed back and still going :) I am no longer putting stress on that date. I am going along with the situations and doors that open towards making this a documentary that will make a difference in the world.

If after the film is seen and people are talking about it, I already won. I want the public, to take away from it something. Having the doctors better trained to diagnose it quicker is my ultimate goal. So raising awareness is just a step towards it.

I Feel Orange Today Part II

Here is the link to my 1st blog about MS and the film I am working on. Check that one first.  :)

     I have some updates.

                    We've shot the 1st re-enactment scene!

The actor, Greg Renfro did an amazing job.

We had a make-up artist work on him and add some years to recreate the story. His performance was outstanding.

Event though it was all action, he "told" the story of a father who lived with MS for 31 years, with his talent and great skill.

This little munchkin, played the son.

He interacted in a most natural manner with our main actor. It will show on film their father-son connection.

I am working on this feature length Artistic Documentary to raise awareness about MS.
I've been researching and shooting since may 2012.
Check and share:

These days I am looking for a seamstress/costume maker as the designs are almost 100% done for a mascot. So if you have any suggestions, send me a message here:   MS.artistic.film.documentary

thank you!

Soon we'll launch a fundraising campaign so don't go far.

Special thanks to KJ for coordinating and set decor, props and casting extras
Donovan for opening up his house for this shoot
                            Camielle and her son
                            MUA Amanda
                            Philip Huerta for BTS photos
                            Greg Renfro

In the mean time, the 2nd re-enactment scene is coming up. Check the FB Page  MS.artistic.film.documentary for photos and news.

stay sexy everyone!

I feel Orange today! Is that normal?

            here is a quick scenario. {go visual}

Imagine tomorrow you wake up and your whole arm is still asleep. You might think you slept on it, and it's numb, and will come back to "its senses" soon. Go on with your morning routine.

[talking about the morning routine: i have no idea what's your beliefs, therefore I will go ahead and suggest something (new) for you to listen:  click here  <- it's just Hindu Mantras. no harm :)
]

Go do your thing, stretch, take your pajamas off, drain the pipes, brush your areas that need brushing, wash the ones in need, and, oh yeah- roll off the bed, not your eyes!  (0)_(0)  not necessarily in that order.

you eat, your arm is still numb. it feels tingly at the fingers.  you go to work, your arm starts to feel like you are wearing a thick glove when you touch things...

                                                                   FFWD TIME: 3 months later

your arm is still numb. have went to get checked and there is no answer for it from the medical perspective.

should I FFWD more or tell you more?   FFWD was my answer too! (*~*)

                                                                  FFWD TIME: 3 months later

your coworker gives you a mini TWIX candy bar (your favorite!) and you have a hell of a time trying to tear the wrapper open...

have yOu heard of MS? Did you kNow my Fav color Is OrangE? aNd yEt that I aM allergIc to oRanges? dOes it boTher you thAt I writE liKe ThiS?

click on: how about this!

this could be MS. a symptom.. scary right? I am working on making an independent documentary from the patient's point of view about MS. How it is to live with it and how people cope with it.
DID YOU KNOW, THERE IS NO CURE, YET?!     google it! and: wear one if you care
